Associate Director

**Responsibilities**
- Act as Associate Director and Mechanical Discipline Lead, providing leadership and guidance to the mechanical and multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Work closely with clients and project team to establish project requirements and prepare schedules, plans and reports as required.
- Leadership and hands-on monitoring of construction and installation on projects
- Represent the Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors
- Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards
- Hands-on involvement in local office management in conjunction with other members of the senior management team
- Support clients in tender and procurement of MEP contractors and equipment.
- Lead on the coordination of engineering services, together with hands on delivery of concept and detailed designs
- Mentoring and development of younger members of the engineering team

**Requirements**:

- Degree qualified in an appropriate Mechanical or Building Services Engineering discipline
- Significant experience in specification design for a range of building and project types
- At least 10+ years’ experience as a consulting engineer
- A sound technical knowledge in mechanical building services engineering
- Experience in one or multiple of the following sectors: Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Retail, Hotels, Data Centre or Life Sciences.
- Appreciation and working knowledge of contract and business law
