As the **Senior Electronic Design Engineer** you will be reporting to the Technical Engineering Manager, responsible for taking a product concept from initial proposal to schematic and PCB design, onto product acceptance and release, liaisingwith multiple departments to achieve this goal. This will involve working with other Engineers within the department to aid in their professional development.
- Schematic generation and PCB design for a range of products, following approved practices
- Work with other members within the department to assist in their professional development and expand their electronics knowledge through knowledge transfer
- Liaise with various internal teams to design, manufacture, evaluate and release products to the worldwide market
- Produce the various documentation required for the development and manufacturing process
- Work with Product Management to define product / design specifications
- Work with Product Management and Technical Authors on product literature
- Support from initial concept through the lifecycle of products
- Liaise with external suppliers to source, evaluate & define component parts
- Work with Purchasing to add new components to ERP system
- Work with component librarian to define and create new library parts
- Work within and comply with established quality system(s)
- Comply with various quality standards
- Provide support to Production for released products
- Provide support to sales team(s) / customers for a variety of products
- Continue personal development by participating in training courses, seminars
- Have a commercial appreciation of the market and competitors' products
- Visit trade shows to gain appreciation of the marketplace

To be successful in this role of **Senior Electronic Design Engineer** we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

- Degree in Electronic Engineering, or industry experience to a comparable level
- Ability to understand and fault find circuits and PCBs.Xe
- Experience within the test and measurement sector
- Experience of Analogue and High-Speed digital circuit and PCB design
- Experience in RF / µW circuit and PCB design
- Altium Designer experience is advantageous, PCB design and schematic generation
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary team advantageous
