**Work pattern**: 37.5 hours per week (our office hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday - Friday)

**Purpose of the Enrolment Specialist role**:
The purpose of the Enrolment Specialist role is to convert enquires into programme starts, process learner information onto appropriate programmes, alongside administrative duties required to finalise the start. As an Enrolment Specialist, you will possess extensive knowledge of the programme offering to diagnose potential learner needs and make recommendations onto programmes that meet their requirements. You will be there to support learners if they encounter queries during their enrolment process and the initial stages of the course.

**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Follow up leads received through online referrals (as well as from other referral sources) via telephone, asking engaging questions to diagnose potential learner needs and encourage sign up
- Ensure completion of all start paperwork and Initial Assessments in accordance with compliance needs and STUK procedures (sometimes face to face in our centre)
- Keep up to date with all course offerings and inform potential learners of options available to them
- Work to targets and provision of daily, weekly, and monthly reports to reflect performance against set company targets and forecasts.
- Track and trace of AEB starts which are incomplete to ensure they convert to full starts on our data system.
- Monitor and ensure quality of evidence for audit purposes on each learner file on Solution 9.
- Investigate any issues relating to learner starts and support in resolving any complaints
- Market our courses offer to external referral partners (JCPs, other Welfare to Work providers, community organisations and others) to encourage and increase referrals.
- Feedback contact results and enrolment outcomes with these organisations where required

**Standard Responsibility Requirements**
- Participate in the Company employee review process
- Evidence own CPD and achievement using the Breathe HR system.
- Comply with Skills Training UK policies and procedures.
- Ensure and protect the safeguarding of and welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and follow the appropriate processes in place where concerns arise.

**Experience**

**Essential**:

- Experience of telesales / learner recruitment
- Administration and customer service experience in a fast paced environment
- MS Office (all packages).

**Desirable**:

- Selling a service to customers, both face to face and telephone.
- Knowledge of government funded training programmes (AEB, Traineeships etc)
- Conducting training needs analysis.

**Education**

**Essential**:

- Completed a broad education including GCSE Grade C and above in English Language and Maths (or equivalent)

**Desirable**:

- Hold an IAG qualification at level 2 or above
- A CIM or Marketing based qualification
- Qualification in complaints handling

**Other requirements**

**Essential**:

- Understands their role in the context of safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
- Understanding of the requirements of Equality and Diversity

**Desirable**:

- Experience of the Ofsted inspection process
