We are working with a womenswear Jersey only design office in London who are looking to add to the team. Focussing on designing womenswear product for both UK and overseas retailers we are searching for a well versed and experienced High Street supply Womenswear Jersey designer with a young design focus and history. The womenswear designer hired will also be very much involved in buyer presentations with the sales director and trend analysis with the team, will work 4 days in the office and one at home and will be very aware of high street supply deadlines.

MUST-HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED

Recent experience working in womenswear high street supply designing jersey product across high street retail (ideally worked with some supermarkets). We are looking for somebody midlevel with young handwriting
Strong design skills using Illustrator and CAD
Track record of working directly with buyers / presenting etc
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to work closely with team members and factories
Team player and understanding of deadlines and critical paths.
Applications must be UK based and be eligible to work in the UK for over 5 years

This is a great position in a small and focused team, fast-paced and reactional to trends
