**Area Sales Manager - Landscaping & Concrete Products** Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Landscaping & Concrete Products Industry Sector: Construction Products, Concrete Products, Precast Concrete, Concrete, Construction Materials, Landscaping, Block Paving, Paving Products, Flagstones, Heavyside Building Products, Main Contractors, Groundwork Contractors, Groundworkers, LandscapeContractors, Civil Merchants, Merchants, Independent Merchants, Buying Groups, National Merchants, Merchant Support Area to be covered: Scotland Remuneration: £48,000 + up to £16,000 bonus (paid quarterly) Benefits: company car OR car allowance & full benefits packages The role of the Area Sales Manager - Landscaping & Concrete Products will involve: - Field sales position selling a high end quality manufactured range of concrete & landscape construction products - Majority of your time will be spent selling into main contractors, building contractors, groundwork’s contractors, groundworkers, landscape contractors, installers, landscape installers - The remaining portion of your time will be spent managing the builders merchants and civil merchants however there is a dedicated person that’s support with this - Territory turnovers between £2m-£3m - Attend regional merchant federation events and meetings - 50/50 spilt between account management and new business - Utilizing the internal support network including: design teams, estimating and internal sales The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Landscaping & Concrete Products experience with: - Must have sold to main contractors, building contractors, groundwork’s contractors, groudworkers, landscape contractors, installers, landscape installers - The remaining portion of your - Would consider someone from builders / civils merchants - Would consider somebody with a construction based qualification such as a civil engineer, structural engineer or architectural technologist with no field sales - Ideally have similar product such as: landscaping, facing brick, bricks, concrete blocks, acoustic blocks, paving, retaining walls (not essential) open for the right person - Technical understanding of precast concrete design advantageous - Capable of both generating new business and managing / expanding existing accounts - Hungry, Driven but also a "safe per of hands" - Autonomous and poses a positive attitude - Energetic, enthusiastic and intelligent Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Construction Products, ConcreteProducts, Precast Concrete, Concrete, Construction Materials, Landscaping, Block Paving, Paving Products, Flagstones, Heavyside Building Products, Main Contractors, Groundwork Contractors, Landscape Contractors, Civil Merchants, Merchants, Independent Merchants,Buying Groups, National Merchants, Merchant Support
