Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders across the EBS group to deliver all functional reports and dashboards in line with the architecture and design concepts. This is a dynamic and analytic role providing hands-on experiencein reporting, dashboard development and modeling.

**Description**

**The successful Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring data integrity and consistency at all times, providing robust technical designs.
- Oversight and (to a lesser extent) preparation of necessary technical documentation, including those necessary for support, and technical design documentation to a suitable level for hand-over.
- Working with the CFO and Transformation Director to set and maintain standards and development practices.
- Working collaboratively with project team to develop new and refined business reports.
- Defining test requirements and approach for the various report-groups.
- Working with business stakeholders to achieve safe transition of reports from the 'As Is' to 'To Be' requirements in the most efficient way.
- Delivering via SSRS & Power BI the full suite of business reports aligned with a common delivery methodology.

**Profile**

**The successful Business Intelligence Analyst will be able to demonstrate**:
**General Experience**

Essential
- Strong skills in SQL, SSRS, Power BI and a proven track record in BI project delivery.
- Notable general I.T. experience within an IT development and support environment.

Desirable
- Experience in the renewable energy sector.

**Technical Competencies**
- Experience in BI and Analytics related Projects.
- Hands-on experience in SSRS & PowerBI (Reporting, Dashboard development, and modeling).
- Take responsibility for the development and maintenance of reporting/dashboarding projects.
- Plan and implement dashboards and data visualisations in PowerBI as required.
- Experience working with large and complex data set able to write simple queries to create calculated fields.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgressSQL
- Strong experience in SQL.
