the Application Management Practice Lead plays a central role in our Managed Services' Divisional strategy. They are the focus point for Application Management technical acumen, thought-leadership, 2nd and 3rd line customer support, and team leadership. The Practice Lead provides Application Management Practice intellectual and managerial leadership, and more widely across Managed Services. Having both great technical proficiency and commercial acumen the Application Management Practice Lead guides ourexpert teams to deliver and support world-class technical solutions for our managed service customers. The role is equally split between building technical excellence and customer-facing delivery. Able to demonstrate a very strong technical background and expertise Application Management Technology and Applications including; - Discovery and validation services - Packaging services - Containerisation services - Application modernisations and transformation services - Applications operations - Track record of thought leadership in the Application Management arena - Proven Knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies in Application Management. - Significant people management experience including successfully building, motivating, and managing sizeable technical teams. Experience in a client facing environment is advantageous. - Significant experience of successfully delivering multiple large and complex services and projects simultaneously, in a client facing environment. - Previous managed services experience is advantageous. - Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and risk, whilst looking for opportunities to innovate and streamline. - Proven track record of developing strong working relationships with both external technical and customer communities. - Commitment to using data and insights to monitor progress and make informed decisions. - Experience of contributing to the planning and delivery of new propositions and business strategy. This role is remote with travel expected.
