**Overview**:
Promised Care is expanding across London. We provide Home Care services to people in their own homes and support staffing in Care Homes, Nursing Homes and Hospitals with six and twelve hour shifts.
We are seeking experienced Care Assistants or applicants looking to get into care but are unsure where to start. Experience is preferred, but not required, as we provide all training necessary for the role. You must be willing to do both block shifts and domiciliary, as each day can be different.

- **Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation via our care app OneTouch Health. Don't worry if you've never used a care app before, we'll show you
- Communicate effectively with the office regarding visit outcomes, client welfare and satisfaction
- Helping clients with a range of tasks, from domestic support or outings, to personal care, medication management and companionship. You might support clients with complex conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's or in Palliative or End-of-Life Care.

- **Essential Requirements**:
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must be willing to travel via car (own license & vehicle) or public transport to client's homes, care homes, nursing homes or hospitals. We at Promised Care believe in Fair Scheduling, where length of visit and distance travelled is given a great deal of thought.
- Experienced or confident in ability to provide hands-on-care that might involve more personal support such as showering or continence care
- Empathy and a caring nature; this isn't just a pay check. You'll be looking after someone's loved one. We care for all our clients as if they were one of our own.
- Willing to work with all genders
- Comfortable in a front-facing role as you'll be meeting new clients and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional appearance and strict adherence to company policies and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

- **Preferable Experience**
- Care Certificate &/or Level 3/4/5 in Health & Social Care or other relevant qualification/s
- Strong background in a caring role in either domiciliary care, hospitals or care home facilities.
- Experienced in Moving & Handling and Medication Management
- Experienced in supporting the management of Dementia, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Palliative and End-of-Life Care.

- **Your Availability & Contract**
A minimum of 16 hours per week is required, to include one or more of the following: early mornings, evenings and weekends, agreed in advance with you permanently or on rotation.
We offer private and government funded clients hourly care, block shifts, night shifts, respite care, live-in and even on occasion help staff care homes and hospitals in a pinch.
You'd begin on a Zero Hour Contract where you'd give us your working availability and we'll try allocate you shifts as they become available. Most, if not all our carers, end up with their regular clients and schedules. Once you've passed your probation and depending on performance we might offer you a Guaranteed Hours Contract where you're a priority to fill up hours in your working availability, depending on clients needs and preferences.
