As an Innovation consultant in the Life Sciences space, you will play a crucial role in leveraging your expertise in life sciences to provide trend analysis, and strategic insights, drive innovation, and shape our future strategy in life sciences including supporting our partner companies’ business formation.

You will support the growth of a dedicated life sciences division.

**Job responsibilities include**:
**Life Sciences practice**: Contribute to the emergent life sciences practice within the business which spans diagnostics, medical devices, pharma, food, environmental testing, and associated AI projects.

**Contribute to Strategic Guidance**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that leverage life sciences expertise to drive innovation and growth. Identify new market opportunities, evaluate business models, and provide recommendations based on scientific and market analysis.

**Trend Analysis**:Identify and provide comment on trends within the life sciences& health sector, providing insight into future trends within the field via a monthly newsletter and regular social media updates.

**Academic liaison**:Collaborate with colleagues in the identification of strategic partnerships within the academic space including partnerships with universities, associated professors, government, and trade bodies.

**Grant identification and attainment**: Collaborate with colleagues in the identification and attainment of grants on behalf of clients and their projects.

**Establish Strategic Partnerships**:identify potential supplier organisations who can support in the delivery of high-quality advisory and executional services.

**Work with sales and distributors**:Enhance presales material and keep partners up to date on the core offering of the organisation in life sciences.

**Conduct market research and analysis**: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis within the life sciences sector for our clients. Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities that align with our organization's goals and mission. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the life sciences industry and provide insights on their potential impact.

**Drive innovation initiatives**: Contribute to innovation initiatives that leverage life sciences knowledge and expertise. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement novel solutions, products, and services that address market needs and create a competitive advantage.

**Offer scientific expertise and drive research**: Provide scientific expertise and guidance on life sciences-related projects. Collaborate with research and development teams to evaluate scientific feasibility, assess technical risks, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

**Client engagement and relationship management**: Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Develop strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and delivering exceptional client service.

**Facilitate knowledge sharing**: Share your life sciences expertise and insights with internal teams through presentations, workshops, and training sessions. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and learning within the organization.

**Stay updated on regulations and compliance**: Stay current with relevant regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements within the life sciences industry. Ensure that our organization and partner companies adhere to applicable regulations and implement best practices in research, development, and commercialization.

**Project management**: Manage projects related to life sciences consulting engagements, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success and client satisfaction.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**

**Educational background**: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, or a related field. An advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred.

**Industry experience**: 2 - 5 years of experience working in the life sciences industry, preferably in a consulting or strategic advisory role. Experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, MD, healthcare, or related fields is highly desirable.

**Strategic mindset**: Proven ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and provide insights to drive innovation. Understanding of market dynamics
