**Are you an experienced Driver Trainer with a passion for safety and continuous improvement?**

Here at GXO we have the opportunity to combine this skill set for a unique role based at our Pembridge site on behalf of our customer Kingspan Insulation. This is a critical role in the team where you will lead all driver improvement strategies, overseeing circa 88 drives and multiple other driver trainers based across our three sites. You will be responsible for reducing accident levels across all our Kingspan locations whilst proactively driving a safety-first culture across the contract.

This is a permanent, full time position working Monday - Friday, 0600 - 1600. Flexibility is a must as you will be required to travel to other sites across the contract and work within a typical driver’s daily hours from time to time.

**What you'll do on a typical day**:

- Overhaul our current strategy and implement a fresh approach to how we recruit, train and retain our drivers across the contract
- Conduct standard driving assessment, inductions and Driver CPC training
- Responsible for the creation and delivery of a “safe driving plan” to be embedded throughout the contract
- Responsible for all QSHE related activity on site continuously looking for improvement and efficiencies
- Be the primary point of contact for queries in relation to Tachograph, driving style, MPG, accident investigations and infringements
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Excellent Transport knowledge of current EU and Working Time Regulations
- A passion for QHSE and continuous improvement, ideally with IOSH or Health and Safety background
- A full, clean, UK Driving license with C+E entitlement
- Advanced driving skills with knowledge of fuel-efficient driving techniques
- Advanced problem solver with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for periods of time
