An excellent opportunity for experienced Handyman/woman to join a well-established company.

Due to an increase in works SSL are looking to recruit handyman/woman to carry out various repairs and project work throughout Scotland.

To be 1st response to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work in commercial premises (Airports, shops, pubs, restaurants etc).

CSCS Card & Health and Safety awareness.

Deft hands and technical knowledge are important parts of a handyman’s arsenal. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail is valued greatly in this job.

**Responsibilities**:

- joinery/Carpentry
- Perform maintenance
- Painting/Decorating
- Plastering/Taping
- Undertake light installation works
- Fixing/Replacing locks
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, flooring, plumbing repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs

Requirements and skills
- Flexable work ethic
- Proven experience as handyman working alone and in a team
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Good eye for health and safety
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
- Attention to detail is key

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
