**Salary £31,305 Per Annum based on 35 hours per week (Additional Inner London Weighting of £3,344 if applicable)**
**Contract Type: 6 Months Fixed Term with possibility of extension**
The British Red Cross is part of the world's largest humanitarian network. We help people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Project Officer to join our RSRFLAT (Refugee Support and Restoring Family Links and Anti-Trafficking) team.
**What does a day in the life of a Project Officer look like?**
You will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to assist refugees, restore family links, and combat human trafficking. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
** Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including partners, beneficiaries, and volunteers.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, preparing regular reports.
- Identify and mitigate risks to project success.
- Support the development of funding proposals and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
**To be a successful Project Officer, You’ll need**:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the humanitarian or non-profit sector.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of issues related to refugees, family reunification, and human trafficking is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
