Where in the world of OVO will I be working? The OVO Smart Metering Team is responsible for maintaining and improving the end-to-end delivery of Smart metering capabilities and technology into the OVO energy brands (OVO Energy, Boost, Spark and SSE). Smart meters provide a foundation for generating insights and data for customers which they can use to better manage energy usage, as well as to take advantage of innovative products and services whilst reducing their carbon footprint and lowering bills. The Senior Process Lead role sits within our Change & Delivery team and will play a key role within our newly established Paygo Revenue Assurance squad. Some key responsibilities will be: Responsible owner for the E2E meter to cash process Lead the process transformation from three separate business units to one OVO brand on Orion Create and own process maps with revenue measurement points to drive visibility, enable risk management and effective decision making Generate a continuous improvement environment to drive value creation and deliver a range of exciting initiatives using change and agile methodologies. You will be passionate about Change and have the experience to lead a cross functional team of people to deliver shared goals and objectives. You will work on identifying change and improvement opportunities including the simplification of business processes and identifying system changes to drive performance. You may also work alongside Product and Development teams to introduce new technologies and innovations that evolve and improve the customer experience. Ultimately we want to support and enable our customers on their drive toward our plan zero lower carbon living. What will I be doing? Take responsibility to identify and deliver change that will improve our performance and processes, including system changes and utilising new technologies Use data insights to prioritise your delivery of process mapping and process evaluation Drive a collaborative approach for a variety of change initiatives and projects, delivering successful outcomes Identify, build and manage key stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to align across value-add goals and objectives Develop business cases and benefits realisation plans engaging with business sponsors, leads and SMEs to ensure agreement on accountabilities and expectations Have a keen understanding of how delivering change can impact colleagues and customers to ensure that effective implementation plans are in place Play an active coaching role across the Revenue Assurance function to support development Contribute to managing the ongoing workload and backlog planning Is this the job for me? Highly desirable skills and experience for this role: Business Transformation mindset and awareness of methodologies Analytical and critical thinker Skilled in business case development, change management and benefits realisation Understanding of Meter to Cash process and E2E revenue model 2+ years experience in delivering change and improvement initiatives Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma or other change frameworks Some familiarity with using the Agile toolkit and associated ceremonies for delivery of projects Able to manage, influence and collaborate with key stakeholders across all levels of our organisation and external parties Experience of taking complex scenarios and presenting them in a way that less technical colleagues can understand Ideally candidates will also have: Knowledge of Smart metering and the retail energy sector Experience of working in a regulated environment Prior experience of setting up and/or contributing to the development of change and delivery frameworks Brilliant benefits for a world-changing teamOur people are at the heart of Plan Zero.
