On behalf of our client, a specialist civils and building contractor based in Perthshire, we are looking for an Estimator/Estimating Assistant for their civils division. Our client specialises in bespoke SIPs House Design, Gabion Retaining Walls, Groundworksand Hydro Schemes.

Our client’s civils division carries out low, medium, and high value contracts for several new and repeat clients including private, public sector and Tier 1 contractors.

Responsibilities include:

- Collating information at enquiry stage prior to tender review
- Review tender documents and carry out take-off’s
- Issuing subcontract, plant, and material enquiries
- Researching and gathering quotes for up-to-date and accurate material, plant, and subcontractor costs
- Logging, monitoring, and preparing tenders to ensure all tender submissions are returned on time
- Carrying out/assisting with pricing the tenders

Experience Required:

- Prior estimating/site experience within the construction industry.
- Practical site experience would be beneficial, and a good understanding of commercials/business would help.
