Senior Programmer

**Senior Programmer - €48,000 - Northeast Netherlands (On-site)**

My client an exciting gaming studio based in Northeast Netherlands is looking to bring in a new Senior Programmer to work on they're exciting current and upcoming projects.

This role is perfect for either a Junior Programmer looking to take a step up, or an experienced Senior Programmer looking for a new exciting challenge with fantastic growth and opportunities.

**REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS**:

- Degree in computer science, engineering or a similar education/equivalent experience
- + 3 years of experience in the game industry
- High proficiency using C++ in Unreal Engine
- Experience with developing games for consoles (Switch, Xbox, PlayStation) & PC

**Any experience with VR would help you to stand out from the crowd**

**DESIRED SKILLS**:

- Experience with different development methodologies, experience with Agile and Waterfall methodology is a plus
- Experience with LUA
- Experience with version control software such as SVN, P4 and GIT
- Experience with shipping a game on a console platform
