**Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need.

**Job description.**

Salvere Support are looking for a **female** PA to support a lady with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

We offer permanent contracts, enhanced pay on some bank holidays, enhanced DBS and company pension..

We can not accept PAs who require sponsorship.

**Job Ref SSL/KF/WS12**
- Shift times are 8am to 2pm / 1pm to 10pm / 9pm to 9.30am
- **Flexibility over 7 days with alternate weekend working**:

- 18 - 24 hours a week + holiday & sickness cover
- Working 2:1 and 1:1
- **Hourly rate of £12.66**

**Must be comfortable with animals - cats and dog (family pets)**

**The Job and duties**:
Female PAs will be required to support the client at home, she is now immobile and fully dependent on her PA team for all day to day living tasks.

You will provide personal care, continence care, medication administration, non-Invasive Ventilation, mobility and re-positional changes, assisting with eating and drinking.

Every day is about giving caring, friendly support. It is important to always be very positive while on shift.

- **Must be self-motivated and well organised and reliable**:

- To be able to communicate effectively
- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
- Excellent team player.
- Willingness to participate in vocational training programme
- Flexible
- Available alternate weekends
- Assist with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals at all times

**Skills**
:

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow care plans
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
