We are seeking a motivated, passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Quarry Operative. In this role, the operative will be responsible for assisting the Deputy Quarry Manager with various tasks for safely extracting slate/stone from the quarry.

This person will learn drilling operations, wire sawing, use of explosives and plant operating, full training will be given.

**Requirements**:

- Willing to work safely in challenging conditions.
- Able to work to company policies and procedures.
- Able to self
- motivate and to work as a team with others.
- Use of specialist quarrying equipment and plant machinery.
- Experience desirable but full training will be given.
- May be required to work at various company sites.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Must be able to operate company vehicles as well as operate equipment in the warehouse.
- Able to work in all weather conditions and in all types of terrain
