Apprentice HR/Administration Assistant to work for Inspire Childrens Services who are a quality provider of specialist support & residential care for young people with complex needs, some of your duties will include admin support for HR, Administration & Finance departments and be responsible for purchasing, supply and maintenance of stationery.

**Main duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide admin support for HR, Administration & Finance departments
- Purchase, supply and maintain stationery
- Undertake word processing & spreadsheets
- Provide a reception service which includes receiving visitors, arranging hospitality
- Provide a telephone service to other staff and management including taking, call vetting and transferring calls
- Arrange meeting rooms, providing refreshments and processing invitations to delegates with relevant information
- Day to day responsibility for Health & Safety and First Aid
- Ensure all personnel files are kept up to date & contain all necessary documentation
- Ensure all HR recruitment documents are collated and distributed in line with personnel recruitment checklist
- Ensure all documents and bookings are scheduled in line with induction checklist
- Ensure DBS disclosures for all staff are up to date and renewals processed
- Liaise with Umbrella body to ensure time processing and to request DBS paperwork
- Ensure all personnel files are created and maintained and up to date
- Maintain confidentiality at all times

**Desired skills**:

- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to form and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and managers
- Knowledge of IT/Computer software and systems
- Good interpersonal skills
- Some previous experience of working in an office would be beneficial

**Desired Qualifications**:
5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Level 4/Grade C & Above including Maths & English
