The Enterprise Data Services team (EDS) at Ageas Insurance are looking for an experienced Head of BI to take responsibility for the embedding and expansion of Business Intelligence within Ageas UK.
**Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Head of BI**:
Create a single, robust and trusted Business Intelligence service for the organisation
Deliver the 'hub and spoke' community model, ensuring a high quality centre of excellence is in place to support all the Business Intelligence users
Deliver meaningful insights to the business with well thought through, actionable, clearly articulated analysis
Identify opportunities to translate existing Reporting/BI/MI/analysis into the central Business Intelligence service
Measure and improve the Business Intelligence maturity throughout the organisation by actively growing 'analytics adoption' across the business
Continually challenge, innovate and improve the quality of the Business Intelligence product**Here are some of the main skills, experience and responsibilities required to be successful in the Head of BI opportunity**:
Proven track record of managing and delivering Business Intelligence projects.
Highly experienced in building and running a leading Business Intelligence team
Expert understanding of BI best practices and new/evolving analysis tools
Expert stakeholder management and relationship building skills. Comfortable interacting with senior executives
Experienced in transformation programmes including the implementation of cloud solutions, Data Warehouses, reporting tools and methods
Driver of change, relishing the opportunity to leverage a strong technical background to influence decisions at all levels of the organisation
