Following recent approval to increase the capacity of our existing Deputy Head of PMO post, we have this exciting opportunity for an experienced programme manager to join our PMO team as Deputy Head of PMO (8b) in a job share with the existing post holder (The existing postholder works 0.4 WTE and the job share post advertised is for 0.6WTE - 1WTE increasing the post to a 1WTE - 1.4 WTE post). Applications can be for 0.6 WTE to 1 WTE or anywhere in between, but not less that 0.6 WTE.

Interviews are planned for Wednesday 30th November and Thursday 01st December and you may need to attend both days.
- Monitor, oversee, and support organisational Strategy - Transformation and Financial Improvement Programme ensuring alignment with the Five Year Forward View as well as plans developed in line with the NHS Long Term Plan.
- Developing a standardised approach to the organisations PMO function based on best practice, improving delivery and capability of the organisations PMO function and ultimately improve outcomes for patients and staff.
- Setting up new PMO framework / processes and governance, managing risk registers and quality assurance measures as well as managing all aspects of the programme management office.
- Delivering and managing the PMO portfolio of high profile, complex, approved business transformation, and efficiency projects
- Ensuring programme interdependencies are managed and logs are accurately maintained.
- Ensuring regular, accurate, timely and quality reporting to the Portfolio Board and other committees and boards to facilitate decision making, collaborative working and assurance regarding progress of work.

The Programme Management Office (PMO) teams within Kingston Hospital and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare Trust are merging into a single function. The PMO team is part of the Strategy & Transformation team across both Trusts and provides project level support to both Trusts, and this post will form part of the new structure. Both Trusts are committed to delivering clinically sustainable, quality and financially viable healthcare services to its local population.

Reporting to the Head of PMO in this job share role, you will be a key member of the Strategy & Transformation team and together with you job share partner, you will support the Head of PMO in managing all PMO activities.

This highly visible role requires an individual who is resilient, has tactical skills and can demonstrate knowledge and experience of NHS Health and Social Care services and systems and offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of medium
- and longer-term strategies for NHS Kingston + Richmond Place.

PMO team members work in an agile way. You will be provided with agile working kit enabling you to work on and off site, at home and in different locations across Kingston Hospital and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare in accordance with the PMO Team Agile Working Charter.
