**What you can expect**:

- A supportive team
- Some wet and muddy days - we are not just fair-weather walkers
- To walk 2-3 dogs at a time (we don’t pack walk)
- To interact with a range of pets including cats, rabbits, hamsters, and other small furries.
- To be taught basic training for a puppy so we can get them off to the best start on their walks
- Basic canine first aid training
- Ongoing training and support
- Police and reference checks (for our customer’s peace of mind)

**All we need from you**:

- Own car (fully insured, MOT and tax)
- Live locally to the vacancy
- Be willing to work in all weathers
- Love animals (experience of being a pet owner preferred)
- Exceptional timekeeping
- Confident communication skills (with humans and animals)
- Commitment (our pets build relationships with you, so consistency is very important)
- Access to a reliable mobile phone
- Good local relationships

- Based around Guildford

- Outdoors - need to be willing to walk in all weathers
- Travelling required - must have own car/van
- Permanent positions only - sorry, no temporary jobs with We Love Pets

**Hours**:
Monday to Friday and weekends available

**Pay**:
£11.50 plus travel allowance.

As it’s a part-time permanent position, it may fit well with the school runs as most of the walks are around lunchtime, however, you must be able to commit to some time over school holidays. It would also, suit semi-retired or retired people, someone looking for part-time hours, someone who works from home or has another part-time job.
