**Are you looking for a new exciting role? Look no further...** Lovett Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our amazing team at Charlotte House Care Home. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in partnership with our team to deliver quality care for a diverse group of residents. **This position is for 40 hours per week at £10.90 per hour.** You will have previous experience within a care environment. To discuss this exciting opportunity further, please forward your CV to Phil Evans, General Manager. **What does a typical day look like?** - Developing and planning programs, outings, and events, staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities. - Ensure the programme reflects the current population of the residents wishes and preferences - To support and enable residents to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget - To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge - Organise and plan activity programmes reflecting residents’ preferences - Produce a newsletter to inform residents and their relatives and friends what’s going on - Support residents to access internet and communication such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime - Plan events within allocated budget - Ensure residents are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their wellbeing - Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support - Complete daily reporting of activities and interaction into a resident’s plan of care - Completion of mandatory E-Learnings - To embed and demonstrate our company values throughout the day **What skills do I need?** - Leadership Skills - Communication Skills - Problem Solving Skills - Proficient Computer Skills **What experience do I need?** - Experience of working in a care environment is preferred - Experience in role applied for is preferred, but not essential - Valid driver’s licence is highly preferred - Experience of working with people in particular those that may have additional support needs - Knowledge of event planning, practices, and techniques would be beneficial **What can we offer you?** - 28 Days Holiday _(Including Bank Holidays)_ - Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme - "Lovett Cares" - Reward Platform - Discounts and More - Employee Assistance Programme - 24 hour support - 12 Month Service Voucher and Certificate - Long Service Awards - 5,10,15,20 and more - £500 Employee Referral Bonus Scheme - A range of Apprenticeships available - Ongoing support and training - Fully funded DBS and Free Uniform **About Us**: Founded back in 2009, Lovett Care has been operating care homes across the Northwest for over a decade and recently in Wales after acquiring four homes.
