**Overview of Role**

The role of Paid Media Specialist sits within Yawn Marketing’s delivery team, supporting our clients in the delivery of campaigns and activities relating to paid media performance, while keeping an eye on the potential for wider digital marketing impact.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Services, and supporting the Client Services team, the Paid Media Specialist is a key part in the provision of a wide range of marketing and training outputs for our clients.

**Core Responsibilities**

As Paid Media Specialist at Yawn, your primary role will be focused on the implementation, management and optimisation of paid media activities. You’ll work with our team of account managers to develop and implement paid strategies for our clients across a range of platforms such as Google (Search, Display and Shopping), Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Pinterest, to support defined strategic aims.

This role is predominantly a delivery role, however as a small but growing agency, and due to the nature of the workshops and standalone training sessions we also provide, there will be some client-facing aspects.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll be helping to build long-term relationships with the agency’s retained clients and deliver high-quality service to support retention and upsell opportunities

Your responsibilities will include:

- Development of paid media strategies for clients, gathering data to develop well-informed and effective strategic plans targeting a range of conversions such as awareness, lead generation and eCommerce sales across search, display, shopping and social
- Onboarding new clients, including setup of new accounts and / or conducting comprehensive audits of existing paid accounts, prioritising remedial and proactive recommendations based on potential for returns
- Campaign ideation, messaging development and copywriting, including briefing for content and assets within the wider Yawn delivery team
- Implementation, management and optimisation of paid accounts, including short-term tactical campaigns to support wider seasonal marketing activities, managing budgets and pacing
- Proactive recommendations for continuous performance improvement and testing, including outside of specific paid media activities, such as landing page or product optimisation
- Manage full tracking implementation to enable monitoring and reporting of relevant KPIs and conversion metrics for each client
- Reporting and insights on paid media performance, referencing longer-term or wider market trends where applicable, both for internal use and within client-facing documents and presentations
- Ensuring the wider Yawn team is kept up to date with industry news, trends and platform developments and enhancements with associated benefits for clients, including paid media-related updates to relevant wider marketing platforms e.g. Shopify / Klaviyo
- Delivering training sessions relating to paid media management for project-based clients, including production and refinement of the materials required for the sessions
- Client communications - liaising with and updating clients where required to support account managers and gather content / key information for paid media activities
- Support with business development proposals through identification and definition of opportunities with new and existing clients

**Key Skills & Experience**
- Minimum two years experience in a marketing role either specialising in, or with significant aspects of, paid media management, ideally encompassing search, shopping, display and paid social media campaigns
- Agency experience is desirable, or experience in working across multiple projects or clients at a time
- Experience in wider digital marketing activities such as SEO and CRO is an advantage
- Google Skillshop certified preferable
- Proficiency in using GA4 and Google Tag Manager to set up tracking, tagging and conversions
- Experience of Looker Studio reporting an advantage
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or training provision role is desirable
