Our client is a market leader in the mortgages and savings space, and they are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join their team. You will be underwriting cases such as Residential, BTL and additional complex cases. This is a fantastic organisationto work for, offering training, progression, and competitive benefits.

Their head office is based in Chatham and for the initial training period (3 months) they would require this individual to be fully office based, 5 days per week. Once that period is over, they operate a hybrid approach to the working week - 3 days in theoffice and 2 working remotely.

Duties of the Senior Underwriter will include:

- Offer mortgages to approved borrowers, within assigned mandate level and agreed service standards, requesting any outstanding information if required and verifying it on receipt.

The successful individual will possess:

- A wealth of experience in manual, mandated underwriting
- Experience of underwriting cases such as Residential, BTL and of complex nature
