**About our client**
Our client is an entrepreneurial private equity / special situations investor, focusing on public-to-private opportunities across Europe. They are looking to add an Investor Relations Professional to their London based team. In this role, you will interactwith their existing investor base and be responsible for nurturing those relationships while project managing current and future fundraisings.
**What the job involves**:
- Meet with institutional investors to discuss portfolio updates and carry out due diligence meetings
- Carry out quarterly reporting and allocation reviews
- Help during the fundraising period by attending the initial investor meetings
- Create and update fund marketing materials including pitch decks, DDQs, teasers
- Implement new processes and help to streamline the IR function
- Work closely with the placement agent and partners in driving forward the fundraising process
**Who we are looking for**:
- Educated to degree level with relevant investor relations/placement agent experience within private markets
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills, able to build rapport with internal stakeholders and investors alike
- Hands-on, disciplined approach and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial mindset is required
