Stores Person

We are seeking a hard working individual to join our growing team as a Stores Person. This exciting role will give the successful applicant a fulfilling role helping manage and deliver some industry leading Sensory Educational products. The role will be to undertake works in connection with the issuing of store’s material and the maintenance of stock, to include shipping and receiving goods. The role is a mix of hands on "goods in, goods out and stock management", but will suit a person who is computer literate and a good communicator. - Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate. - Picking & packing orders for collection. Working in conjunction with Sales Administration. - To take delivery of goods delivered into stores, with the use of pump trucks where required. FLT licence is a plus, but is not required for the role. - Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity. Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels. - Packing equipment for general sales, installations and for international expor - Assist with stock checks when required & keep stores clean and tidy. Other activities will include keeping the yard clean and tidy, including perimeter checks as necessary. Manage the skips on site, ensuring that materials are correctly disposed of in the appropriate skips to maximise recycling possibilities. Notify Skip Company when skips require emptying and other such duties as may be required from time to time. This role is ideally suited to those who enjoy a structured and organised role, who have a high level of quality care and attention to detail. - Not afraid of a day's hard work - Quality care - Experience of working in a similar role, involving work in stores for a minimum of two years, or equivalent experience - Good listener and team player. - Methodical and organised and able to work on own initiative - Good computer literacy Full training will be provided.
