The Head of Network position will have ownership of current and evolving strategy for all network planning, revenue management/optimisation and operational scheduling efficiencies across cluster of growing geographical portfolios.

**Selection of responsibilities**:

- You’ll direct team members in developing a robust analytical framework, providing the business with full visibility & reporting on revenue channels, demand patterns, price velocities and revenue optimisation opportunities.
- Monitoring performance of road networks across the portfolio, targeting local authorities improvements to drive journey efficiencies.
- Drive and enhance scheduling efficiencies, working with delegated partners to model the impact of workforce availability against customer demand
- Fully understand the implications of external market dynamics and competitor activity for the business and react accordingly with appropriate development of Revenue management strategies.
- Work with operational team members to optimize revenue channels and capitalise on demand.
- Create accurate demand forecasts across the business - weekly / monthly / quarterly.
- Manage to and provide high level updates on performance in relation to planned revenue targets.
- Team management; manage, drive and motivate staff members, ensure team members have the resource and direction to deliver objectives & continually improve team competencies.
- Ensure revenue management principles and strategies are fully understood and applied by each revenue team members.

**Selection of Experience / Qualifications**;
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrate strong expertise in network planning, revenue management, forecasting gained within the retail or travel sector (or equivalent)
- Extensive knowledge of latest network planning, route optimisation, revenue management strategy & tactics.
- Sound financial understanding and should be able to demonstrate experience of performing cost/benefit analysis
- Proven leadership experience.
- Ability to interface with commercial, technical and finance functions - exceptional communication skills required.
- Project & deadline driven.
- Technically astute; ability to leverage complex data sets and turn into actionable insight using leading BI tools.
