We are looking for a passionate and experienced History and Geography Tutors with a proven track record of success in teaching students at KS3 Level. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students.

**Job details**:

- Subject: KS3 History and/or Geography
- Location: Haggerston, Hackney
- Days: Any day between Monday-Thursday
- Times: Between 1pm-3.30pm
- Hours: 2 hours Geography & 2 hours History per week
- Contract Length: Indefinite
- Rate of pay: £30 per hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
- Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these.
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports.
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- Bachelor's degree
- **Experience working with students with SEMH is required**:

- 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Ability to work with students of all abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to be self employed in the UK
