We're working with a leading house-hold name within the Homeware Retail industry who are looking to strengthen their Logistics team with a Senior Finance Business Partner. The role holder will be a critical member of the Commercial Finance team and will partner the COO and other key stakeholders across the business. The role will report into the Head of Commercial Finance.

Salary wise our client is offering
**up to 3 days per week to work from home**. The Salary bracket may be negotiable.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Senior stakeholder management particularly with the COO and Operations Leadership Team.
- Supporting the business to critically analyse performance providing deep insight and balanced recommendations to stakeholders.
- Working with key stakeholders to explore areas of strategic change and how this can lead to reduced operating costs and improved customer satisfaction.
- Producing business cases to support recommended areas of change ensuring impacts are accurately measured and impacts understood.
- Provision of coherent, concise reporting of operational performance, focusing on financial and non-financial KPIs across various channels, with key drivers understood.
- Leading weekly reviews with the operational management team of performance and costs, understanding and challenging any adverse comparisons to plan and learning from areas generating favourable variances.
- Working with Operations to critically evaluate ability to meet targets, identifying areas of risk and/or opportunities to improve performance.
- Ensuring that there is a solid understanding of cost across the Operational Leadership Team, thereby promoting informed decision making with a cost-conscious mindset.
- Preparing detailed Budget models for the full warehouse and distribution P&L, together with monthly forecast updates.
- Ad hoc commercial support.

**Key skills, experience, and attributes**:

- Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a commercial role
- Experience of working in logistics/manufacturing preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A critical thinker who is curious about the business and excited to support and challenge the business to deliver against ambitious growth targets
- Self-motivated, ambitious finance professional
