We are evolving as a business and are adding some exciting new brands and concepts to our venues and digital offering.

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with 2-4 years of PQE. This is a great opportunity for someone to join our finance department and be a part of the Group Reporting team.

You will be supporting the monthly financial and management reporting for the Group, including reporting to our principal shareholder, statutory reporting and other activities to drive continuous improvement in current processes, with the aim of improvingquality and timeliness of reporting.

**Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:
**Reporting to principal shareholder**:

- Managing the collation, production and analysis of a range of monthly and quarterly financial reports for principal shareholder, liaising with stakeholders across the business.Supporting the production of presentations for Quarterly Strategic Business Meetings.
- Responding to ad hoc financial information requests from the principal shareholders**.**

**Statutory reporting**:

- Supporting the production of The Rank Group Plc consolidated interim and full-year annual reports.
- Completing a range of the Group’s subsidiary financial statements.
- Liaising with the Group’s auditors in respect of the above processes.

**Other responsibilities**:

- Month-end management reporting.
- Ad hoc project work to support other team members.
- Provide technical accounting support such as but not limited to IFRS 16 _Leases, _IFRS 2 _Share based payment _and IAS 36 _Impairment of assets_
- Help to drive improvement in current processes with aim of improving quality and timeliness of reporting.
- The contents of the job description are intended to act as a guide to the main responsibilities of this position. However, the post holder’s individual duties will vary according to their role within the department and they may be expected to carry outother duties as requested.

**Qualifications**
- Qualified accountant: ACCA\ACA\CIMA with 2-4 years PQE preferably from audit background.
- Good system knowledge, ideally Dynamics 365, and experience of Jedox consolidation systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience of macros.
- Ability to plan and manage own time effectively to ensure delivery against deadlines.
- A keenness to learn and understand the business and to add value by using financial analysis to assist in driving performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
