**Reports To**: QA, H&S and Training Coordinator

**Start Date**: asap (ideally wc. 7th November)

**Working Hours**: 3pm - 11pm Monday to Friday

**Role Purpose**:
Reporting to the QA, H&S and Training Coordinator, the overall purpose of the role will be to efficiently and consistently perform quality inspections on televisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- The main goal of the job is to monitor/improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Check product conformity to specifications laid out in the Business Management System.
- Plan work to ensure results driven sampling, but also with the aim to check sections and products according to the volume processed and customer requirements.
- Liaise with operators and management team with the aim to raise quality awareness and improve the overall quality throughout the company as a whole.
- To provide feedback on findings:

- To operators and assist them in improving the quality of their work.
- In team sessions, where an entire section is informed of findings, so that these can be discussed and improvements can be implemented.
- To management team, so that they are aware of problems and can act upon them.
- Reports to Training, H&S and Quality Assurance Coordinator in order to inform of overall performance and provide detailed information where required.
- To the SMS system thereby improving documentation.
- Make suggestions for improvements in processes and methods, based on observations and/or QA results
- Training of staff (optional):

- Concerning Quality Assurance, including QA failures.
- All aspects of Clean and Pack.
- Some aspects of functional testing of product.

**Skills/attributes required for the role**:

- Have a responsible attitude towards the quality of work.
- To be able to work in at team and without constant supervision.
- Shows initiative, self-drive and a desire to bring tasks to completion.
- Can communicate with all staff on all levels verbally or in writing. Strives to build relationships and can cooperate actively with colleagues both across departments and within the group.
- Good understanding of Servicecare Management System (SMS).
- Computer literate with broad knowledge of MS Office and be able to provide feedback/reports both electronically and by paper.
- Can identify opportunities for continuous improvement in work methods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
