**Role**: Finance/Admin Assistant
- **Basis**:Part-Time permanent
- **Hours**:9-5pm 3 day per week (flexible options)
- **Report to**: Finance Manager
- **Location**: Farmoor, near Oxford. Flexible working available.
- **Salary**: £24,000 - £28,000 (pro rata)- Ultimate Activity Company is a leading provider of holiday childcare in the UK. Our trusted holiday camps operate at nearly 40 venues across the country offering outstanding childcare & activity provision to children whilst providing peace of mind to parents.A rapidly growing business, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced finance/admin assistant whose main responsibilities will be the day to day running of the purchase ledger, allocating bank receipts and payments, reconciliation of the bank account and reconciling booking receipts on our internal booking system plus supporting the finance manager as and
- when required.We are looking for a positive person with excellent attention to detail and communication skills for the finance team. You will use your meticulous attention to detail and friendly approach, to work within the finance and customer support departments.-
Following probation and training, days worked and working from home can be flexible, except during Summer and Easter school holidays.**About You**:

**Your Experience or Qualifications**:

- Experience of managing purchase ledger
- Experience of bank and credit card reconciliations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Good reconciliation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Xero experience preferred though not essential as training will be given
- Strong Excel skills
- Responsible, trustworthy, and approachable
- Have the ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
- AAT/ ACCA/ACA/CIMA student or qualified by experience

**Your Responsibilities**
- Maintain the purchase ledger, inputting invoices and expenses, preparing supplier payment runs and liaising with suppliers
- Reconciliation of the bank, ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct
- Reconciliation of credit card transactions with receipts and resolving any issues
- Fuel card and mileage processing
- Assist the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end processes
- Download payment reports
- Reconcile childcare vouchers and bank receipts with parent bookings
- Organise childcare voucher refunds for payment
- Reconcile petty cash
- Liaise with all members of staff from different departments in the company
- Ad hoc Finance and office admin duties
