About The RoleMadgalene is a provider of essential infrastructure services to the telecom sector. We enable the biggest names in telecommunications to bring their services to your door and we are currently looking to recruit a **Head of Human Resources**.

Reporting to the Managing Director with a matrix reporting line to the Divisional HR Director, you will take primacy on all HR activities as part of the senior management team and contribute to the successful achievement of Magdalene’s business plan.

**As a Head of Human Resources your duties and responsibilities will be to**
- Take primacy on all HR activities within Magdalene and act as first point of contact for Magdalene’s senior management team.
- Support and actively contribute to the achievement of Magdalene’s business plan, aligning with the People Strategy and Divisional/Group requirements
- Support all HR and resourcing aspects of bids, tenders, acquisitions, TUPEs and mobilisations.
- Manage the activity and output of the Magdalene HR team to ensure all employee relations cases are dealt with effectively.

**Skills and Knowledge Requirements**
- Experience in a senior HR role preferably having managed a team.
- Commercial acumen and solutions-orientated individual who is well-organised.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, resilient and prepared to offer challenge.
- Able to work in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Knowledge of employment law and supremely confident dealing with employee relations cases. Experience of TUPE would be a distinct advantage.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience.
