**Vehicle Technician**
**Hours: 7am - 3:30pm**
As the motor industry moves towards electrification there is an opportunity to add vehicle technicians to an already established team to carry out repairs and diagnostics on the latest generation of prestige, electric vehicles.
**The Role**:
As a Vehicle Technician you will typically be responsible for the below tasks:
- To be aware, understand and actively promote the requirements and needs of all operational roles in successfully achieving the agreed customer requirements.
- Perform skilled workshop repair tasks as allocated by the Workshop Manager.
- Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufactures warranty policy and procedures.
- Carry out up-fit work as required, such as, spoilers, parking sensors, ICI systems
- Undertake QC checks, PDI’s and Road test in line with current processes
- Support body-shop in removing/refitting components
- General housekeeping of work area
- Attend brand specific training courses.
- Any other incidental duties required to provide service to the customer within your capabilities
- Provide assistance to brand press launch
**What kind of person we are looking for?**:
- Hold a level 3 vehicle technician qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a vehicle technician is preferred.
- Be qualified to work on EV or Hybrid vehicles would be and advantage but is not essential.
- Must have a keen eye for detail.
- You must be able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Must hold a full category B driving license with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
