Working in Northgate will be a unique experience in your career to date.

The workshop in Southampton providing maintenance, servicing and warranty work to our fleet of vehicles. The workshop is an integral part of our business, alongside providing regional workshop support of other Northgate sites and large corporate client fleetsin the area.

We need your technical knowhow to combine with our supply partner’s state-of-the-art technology - this makes us an unbeatable combination. As you would expect we are using manufacturer diagnostic technology in all our workshops. Our aim is to ensure ourcustomer vehicles get back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible, allowing our customer to keep their promises.

We will provide training, both in house via our technical training business partners, and through the various manufacturers we work with, this will include electric vehicle diagnostic and repair. We want to work with you to build a long and successful careerwith Northgate.

The Role

Using your technical knowledge to work on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of light commercial vehicles, we can promise that every day will be packed with variety. You will use the diagnostic equipment to get to the root cause of faults,carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, perform preventive maintenance and MOT preparation.

You

You will be technically trained or have spent time served in the automotive sector or similar environment. A full driving licence is essential. We’ll also expect you to be a team player who’s continually focused on the needs of customers.
