**Term Time Only: 39 working weeks + 4.689 holiday weeks (Total paid weeks: 43.689)**
**Salary: £12.80 per hour (£12,582.44 annually)**

Are you passionate about preparing nutritious meals and creating a welcoming dining experience? We’re looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at a school in Shifnal, Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy consistent hours, term-time working, and a supportive environment.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Preparing and serving hot and cold meals alongside the on-site Chef Manager
- Planning and cooking meals in line with school menus and dietary guidelines
- Taking full ownership of the kitchen, including daily prep, cooking, cleaning, and compliance
- Managing stock levels and receiving deliveries
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Liaising with school staff to support smooth service and special events
- Providing a friendly and positive service experience for pupils and staff

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A relevant cookery or catering qualification
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or care setting
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety
- A caring, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check and any required vetting
