Cafe Ambio is a family run chain of cafes based in the Lake District and Lancashire. We opened our first venue at Astley Park in 2009, and have since opened 3 more. The Lakeland Motor Museum, Junction 36 and Grizedale Forest.
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a kitchen porter, you would be expected to work in the kitchen assisting the chefs. The job role would include food prep, washing up from the cafe and kitchen, putting orders away and cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day.
The role is 40 hours per week, working any 5 days from 7. You will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
What to expect from us:
We believe that all of our cafes have a fun and professional work environment. We only open during Day Time hours, and close on Christmas day. We offer a company pension scheme, competitive salaries, provide uniform, 28 days holiday per annum and can also provide transport from Backbarrow if required. We also have a clear career progression. All of our current Managers and Head Chefs joined the company in lower positions.
**Salary**:
£21,000 per annum. Salary can be negotiable upon experience.
Transport is available from Backbarrow to Grizedale
No Evening Work or Split Shifts.
Day time hours only.
9.45 - 5.45 every day.
