KITCHEN PORTER

Opportunity to join our fast-paced kitchen team. Tweedies Bar & Lodge is a 16 bedroomed lodge with huge beer garden, busy bar and restaurant.

We are looking for a _**Kitchen Porter**_ who is a team player, hard-working, works well under pressure and capable supporting our chefs, preparing up to 300 meals a day. Located in the heart of the English Lake District, Tweedies Bar and Lodge lies amongst the central Lakeland fells, providing an idyllic setting. This area of outstanding beauty offers something for every visitor across every season.

Duties Include:
- unloading deliveries of food to the kitchen
- organising the storeroom
- collecting and washing pots, pans, plates and cutlery
- getting pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use as quickly as possible
- washing and disinfecting kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
- making sure kitchen equipment is properly stored
- removing and recycling waste from the kitchen.
- Basic food preparation as and when required

Live in accommodation available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
