Office Angels is delighted to be recruiting for an Finance Manager to join a thriving business based in Swindon. Our client is looking for someone who has previous experience in Education that has previously worked in Finance. This would be a fantastic opportunityfor someone looking for a new challenge and a role that offers great career progression.

**The day to day duties in your new job would be**:

- Provide sound financial advice and support to EPs, updating & maintaining of financial records, reviewing and approving changes in budget and spend.
- Complete monthly reconciliation of student related grant income, verifying with internal colleagues & external bodies e.g. Local Authorities [LA], Education and Skills funding Agency [ESFA] and other relevant organisations.
- Provide leadership to the Senior Finance Officer and Finance Officers and to be accountable for the corporate finance function by ensuring processes and procedures are in place to facilitate efficient and timely transactional processing.
- Prepare and produce monthly monitoring reports to HoEPs and present termly business reports to LGCs; identifying potential areas of concern and generating options for HoEPs and ELT to review.
- Working with Payroll colleagues to verify monthly salary output, confirming and approving of payroll related BACS payments.
- AAT Part Qualified or similar
- High level of computer and numerical literacy, including packages such as Excel and Word
- Attention to detail and accuracy
