**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Team Leader role within the Business Assurance team. You will be responsible for the line management and Service Delivery of the Operations team that supports Business Assurance with the coordination of audits in the UK and Worldwide, including but not exclusively ISO management systems, supply chain, ethical, technical, Health & Safety, quality and cyber security audits. Ensuring productive client relationships and effective delivery of audits that meet customer expectations. You do not need to be a technical expert in auditing as we will upskill you. but you will be a proactive, organised person, that is a good communicator and can deliver great service delivery.
**Key Activities**
- Day to day direct line management of the combined Business Assurance coordination staff
- Accountability for ensuring all work (new and existing) is allocated, scheduled, takes place on time and that associated reports are delivered to agreed targets
- Measuring and monitoring agreed Key Performance Indicators, driving performance and improving efficiency
- Responsibility for leadership, training and coaching development plans to ensure we grow and develop our team members
- Ensuring all scheduling activities are completed to support the tracking of audit volume to deliver above budget performance each month
- Ensuring optimum utilisation of the audit team(s)
- Responsible for working with the Intertek Technical Team to adhere to all accreditation and scheme owner requirements
- Support the Intertek Finance Leader to support beating budget on cost each month - underpinned by cost plans and monthly activity reviews
- Ownership of client queries, providing support from start to finish
- To be the point of contact for the Sales, Technical and Audit teams. Aligning processes to a single delivery process that will improve communication
- As appropriate attend client meetings to support delivery and growth
