**Countrywide Surveying Services, now part of the Connells Group, operates one of the largest, most trusted property surveying and valuation practices in the UK. We act on behalf of lenders and buyers.**

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join us on a permanent basis. This is an incredibly fast paced role where you will have the overall responsibility for driving team success by agreeing, implementing and monitoring both individual and teamobjectives and targets. You will be a natural leader, acting as a positive role model at all times whilst also ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to.

**_Your responsibilities will also include:_**
- Supervise the workload of the team, allocating team members to optimise service provision, productivity and administrative support across the house of the operation of the Diary Management Team.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure quality and controls are maintained at all times and that all internal procedures are followed.
- Encourage, motivate and build the team by understanding and respecting the diversity and skills of team members
- Organise and conduct regular team meetings, 1-2-1 meetings, appraisals and personal development plans, managing poor performance and rewarding good performance.
- Build solid relationships with fellow team members in all departments to enable all cases to be dealt with proactively and in unison.
- Communicate effectively with the Regional Management Teams ensuring Surveyor diaries are optimised and delays with appointment bookings are minimised.
- Assess own development opportunities and creates development plans to improve personal performance
- Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
- Maintain confidentially in all aspects of client, staff and agency information, paying particular attention to information security.
- Ensure that all activities are processed accurately, quickly and in line with instructions.
- Strive to obtain maximum service levels required at all times.
- Undertake the duties of an Administrator as and when required to ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Previous experience in leading, managing and developing a team within a busy call centre
- Ability to focus on solutions rather than problems and provides direction to the team
- Exceptional customer service skills both written and verbal

**_Compliance requirements_**

In an industry like ours, compliance is key. As a requirement of the role, we’ll need you to undergo our pre-employment screening checks which include the following:

- DBS and credit check
- 5 year activity gap and verification including employment references
- Sanctions and watch-list checks
