**Key Responsibilities**
- Handle telephone enquiries from clients and sources regarding their case;
- Review and provide advice to other fees earners in the department on more technical cases, such as cases with multiple medical reports and detailed/complex losses and expenses;
- Where necessary to run as mixed case load of OIC and MOJ Portal RTA cases until conclusion;
- Assist the manager and team leaders in decision making and strategy on technical cases where appropriate;
- To support and coach new employees, assisting them to integrate within the team;
- Assist management by taking complaint queries from clients and try all measures to rectify the concern preventing a formal complaint;
- Ensure the client obtains the appropriate level of compensation for their personal injury and losses;
- Ensure that all evidence is uploaded to the relevant claims portals;
- Maximise the recovery of other Winn Group costs, without compromising the best outcome for the client;
- Report issues, problems and compliance breaches in a timely manner to the appropriate level of management;
**Person Specification**
- Experience running a caseload of files and dealing with clients.
- Knowledge and understanding of risk assessing cases.
- Litigation experience required.
- Ability to deal with difficult clients, communicate effectively, and where appropriate give legal advice in relation to their claim.
- Ability to work towards shared goals and objectives.
- Experience of demonstrating effective teamworking within a commercial environment.
- Cooperative and flexible approach.
- Ability to identify where problems may arise and adopt a solution -focused approach.
- Demonstrate effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
- IT literate.
- Commitment to own personal development.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
