**Job Summary**

Aber Falls Whisky Distillery is the first Whisky distillery in North Wales for over 100 years. Situated in the village of Abergwyngregyn, at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall within the picturesque and beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

We are committed to producing quality premium spirits and are passionate about working closely with local people, local businesses and of course, the finest locally sourced Welsh inspired ingredients.

We now have an exciting opportunity for Visitor Centre Assistants to support our daily operations onsite.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Assisting with daily operations in the Visitor Centre
- Greeting visitors, and engaging with customers general day to day enquiries as required
- Conducting tours of the distillery, and the gin lab experience
- Dealing with cash sales and ensuring all financial procedures adhere to company policy
- Assist with stock ordering and managing suppliers.
- Assisting in the visitors centre café when necessary.

**Skills and Experience**
- Experience of working with members of the public.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous retail experience with responsibility for cash handling and reconciliation
- Speaking Welsh is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with audiences of all ages
- Polite, friendly and approachable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and time management
- Must be flexible in approach to work and hours of work

**Hours**

Flexible - will include weekend and bank holiday working

Please note: The contract is a zero hour contract.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
