Skilled Aircraft Fitter/Sheet Metal Fabricator

**£30,000-£35,000 per annum dependent on experience/skills**

**40 hours per week - Days. **Mon - Thurs 07:00-16:00 & Fri 07:00-13:00**

Aeroco Group is a leading commercial Aircraft Component Repair Station based in Stockport. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled aircraft Fitter/Sheet Metal Fabricator to strengthen our team and to support the growth of our business.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal forming, forging & fabrication techniques to a high specification
- Proven broad industry experience gained within an Aviation Engineering environment
- Good understanding of materials, titanium, stainless steel and aluminum
- Proven experience & recency within C4, C7, C20 ratings
- Experience working with composite material i.e. cutting, filling, potting inserts
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to assess components for repair
- To be able to carry out basic service checks in accordance with aircraft component maintenance manuals
- To be able to carry out component replacement in accordance with relevant aircraft documentation, modification data or service bulletins
- To be able to understand and interpret Components Maintenance Manuals
- To have an understanding of European aviation regularity requirements.
- To carry out work activities and workshop administration in the production workshop and away from base including correct completion of work cards.
- Must have good team working skills coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Flexible and forward thinker with a 'can do' attitude

You will need to have a full, clean driving licence and you must be eligible to work in the UK and also be able to pass UK security clearance to meet the requirements of the role.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
