Salary: £80,000 plus bonus & benefits Hybrid Working Role Our client is a reputable and trusted financial services organisation that are hiring an experienced Legal Counsel to provide a broad range of commercially focussed legal support that will enable the success and growth of the business. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver expert, proactive, efficient, and robust legal advice to a range of stakeholders on a variety of company topics. - Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts and other legal documents that minimise risks and maximise legal rights. This will include a broad range of commercial contracts. - Plan and execute legal support for larger projects as well as supporting day to day business - Proactively evaluate processes and procedures, identifying risks and non-compliance and - Identify opportunities for improvement. - Instruct, manage, and interact with third parties including external counsel and provide legal guidance on new product development. - You are a UK qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE. - Experience working within the financial sector with exposure to commercial lending products. - Have a "can do" attitude as well as strong planning and organisational skills, whilst able to interact with stakeholders both internally and externally.
