An exciting opportunity has arisen for a blended Roles Facilitator to work across or Integrated Heath & Social Care Community Teams within Oldham as part of the Greater Manchester Transformation Programme

The post holder will have an active role in the preparation, development, and review of essential training, including train the trainer models, to ensure staff are trained to provide safe and effective care for patients while meeting professional standards.

Influence and work in collaboration with neighbourhood and district nursing leads in localities across GM by promoting the benefits of new integrated working arrangements and underpinning this with guidance and support on effective training techniques and approaches. This includes encouraging and supporting them to overcome barriers such as lack of funding and time.

Develop innovative learning opportunities and programmes to enable District Nursing teams to train the non-clinical workforce to undertake healthcare tasks; designing and planning development programmes including train the trainer models, based on best practice advice and expertise to local district nursing leads that enables upskilling of the social care workforce to a range of agreed competencies. This will include assessing and benchmarking education, and supporting those mentoring and educating, in complex decisions relating to competence to undertake delegated tasks.

Identify trends in work-based learning, and work in partnership with managers and staff to ensure the learning needs of students are met in the workplace (e.g. use of e-learning).

Identify and promote opportunities for partnership working in the field of education and development across a range of professional groups and agencies, including HEIs, Open University, Royal College of Nursing (RCN), Colleges of Further Education etc.
