CNC Operator

We are looking for a CNC operator setter to join our team. Further training will be provided.
- Able to work independently on set tasks and schedule workload
- Able to demonstrate good engineering bench skills
- Able to demonstrate high attention to detail
- Able to work effectively, both as part of a team and autonomously, consistently to high standards of accuracy and quality
- Proficient in clear, written and verbal communication skills in English

**Duties include**
- Working on Haas (fanuc type of control), XYZ (Siemens control) & Bridgeport (Heidenhain)
- Programming, setting up and operating the CNC machine. Working knowledge of Hypermill CAD/CAM software.
- Management of CNC schedule
- Reduce waste and ensure all waste materials are disposed of in accordance with company and legislative procedures

To repair and maintain mould tools. To be able to successfully modify tools to drawing. To be able to use the overhead crane safely.

To work the required hours when needed to ensure production demands are met.

Undertake any other duties as necessary to fufil the needs of the job and its objective as and when requested by the Tool Room Manager / Supervisor.

Working hours - Monday - Friday

To help train apprentices / improvers To work on any of the production sites as and when required.

Working hours Mon
- Friday 8am - 4.30pm - Perm position, company pension, free parking.

**Salary**: Up to £32,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
