Job Title: Care Worker / Personal Assistant

Location: Stirling

Description: The aim of the job is to provide assistance required by the employer, a disabled woman.

I am looking for a Personal Assistant who is friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. They must be reliable, trustworthy, and punctual. It is important that an employee is aware of and sensitive to my needs. As a Personal Assistant is required to work one-to one, it is important that the employer and employee maintain an open and honest relationship.

Rate of Pay: £12.00 gross per hour

Shift Pattern: You will be required to work a minimum of 18 hours per week 7 days Monday to Sunday.

Hours:Monday - Friday 5.30m - 7.30pm
Saturdays -Sunday 10am-12pm
5.30pm-7.30pm

A reliable and trustworthy person able to take direct instruction is required to assist with all aspects of:
Assisting to access activities in the community

Personal Care

Assisting with eating and preparing meals

Assistance getting in and out of bed

Assistance with toileting & showering

Moving and assisting

Assisting with cleaning of bedroom

Assisting with doing laundry & ironing

Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of carer / personal assistant.

The successful applicant should have a good history and experience of providing care and support. Experience of working with people with disabilities. The employer requires care in many aspects of daily life therefore flexibility is required. You must be able to work with a team, however support will mostly on a one-to-one basis.

As driving will be required as part of this role, the successful applicant should have a full driving license.

Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 14 per week

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
