**£17.00 - £19.26 per hour (37.5 per week worked) + 1 hour extra paid for being away + travel time paid at time and a half and double time, overtime paid, accommodation and assistance allowance too

**The Job:

- **Due to continued success, our client is looking to recruit an experienced HV Cable Jointer on a permanent basis.This role will involve flexibility to meet the needs of the business with a can-do attitude with a focus on quality and attention to detail.No day will be the same, there will be interaction with multiple teams across the on organisation, working on initiative, adding value and developing relationships.
**PLEASE NOTE: **Due to the nature of the you will be required to travel and stay away from home - Accommodation paid as well as subsistence allowance and 1 hour extra pay and travel time door to door
- **Duties and responsibilities of the role include**:

- To carry out HV cable jointing and terminations on 11kV and 33kV (Experience on higher voltages desirable but not essential).
- To carry out earthing and cable installations.
- To provide assistance to electricians and other trades on larger installations.
- Take a Supervisory role when necessary.
- Mentor and coach junior staff in developing their knowledge and skills.
- Assist with site breakdowns and investigative procedures.
- Carry out work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Act as a competent person to receive safety documentation.
- Take personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to them.
- Project a professional image to clients and colleagues and always being on hand to help or support
- Contribute to the future success of the company and its clients.

**The Person**:

- Ideally 3 years’ experience working in a similar role working within the electrical power sector
- Experience of working on Construction sites on Commercial & Industrial installations.
- Must hold JIB approved ECS card.
- Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team, hands on and supportive to other colleagues and trades
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
