**Payments Business Analyst**This international award-winning payments Consultancy is looking for a Payments Business Analyst to join the team and work closely with tier 1 & tier 2 banks.
We’re looking for someone with a detailed understanding of payment systems gained in a bank or similar financial institution. Some experience of instant payments and real-time is highly desirable.
Responsibilities include:

- Consulting or Advisory engagements, working directly with clients to support the development of their payment’s capabilities & infrastructure
- You should be able to understand & contribute to the overall technical architecture & solutions
- Acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing pragmatic solutions to real world problems & continuing to grow & develop the payments practise effectively
- Complete high-level reviews of existing systems or in-flight projects, and communicating the findings of the review back to stakeholders & your internal team

The Successful Payments Business Analyst will have/be:

- Detailed experience of multiple Payment Schemes - SCT Inst, SEPA, FPS, RTGS etc
- In-depth understanding of ISO20022 payment messages, schemas and the usage of specific fields within those messages
- Awareness of industry initiatives impacting the Payments environment
- Creation and elaboration of User Stories using industry best practices
- Experience of working in a Kanban or Scrum software development environment, always focusing on delivery of business value
